Rual Laubscher is a third-year law student from North-West University, situated in Potchefstroom, South Africa. 24-year-old Rual has been into sports his entire life. At the school level, he received provincial colours for rugby, athletics, and cricket. In 2013, he discovered his passion for fitness as he started taking the gym more seriously. He never thought he would be able to compete in fitness competitions. Nonetheless he put his everything into his training and competed in his first competition in 2015 where he weighed 88kg’s on stage. He did his second competition in April 2017 where he added another 7kg’s to his previous 88kg’s contest weight.
Rual is constantly improving his physique, working extremely hard on his weaknesses and striving towards building one of the best physiques in the fitness industry. His goal is to receive his WBFF Pro Card, and to pursue fitness full time after finishing his academic program in 2018. He is dedicated towards reaching his goals, and won’t let anything stand in his way of reaching success.
